Junior A’Myah Bankston enjoys journalism, taking pictures, and writing articles. As of right now, she is taking Journalism I. She plans to continue to learn more about it in the future.
Bankston is described as strong, intelligent, passionate, loving, and understanding. She doesn’t disagree with any of these descriptions. She will turn your day around in a positive way and is often the light of the room. It’s hard not to hang around a person like her. If she isn’t telling a joke, it’s her goofy personality that will come up out of nowhere and make everyone laugh.
If she doesn’t have a basketball in her hand or isn't at the gym lifting weights, she is spending time with her family and friends. A’Myah plays on the varsity basketball team for Grandview High School. She is described as a homebody. When she gets dragged out of the house by her friends, she enjoys herself. Bankston plans on turning that around and going out more.
After high school, Bankston plans on attending a D1 or D2 school. In college, she would like to major in journalism while playing basketball. She has been playing since the 5th grade and playing in college has always been a dream for her.
