During Grandview’s Spirit Week an Arts and Communication House teacher will face a sweet endeavor.

At the pep assembly on Friday, Sept. 12 one teacher will take a pie to the face. The student who donates the most money to their favorite teacher has the opportunity to throw the pie themselves.

Each AC House teacher has a cup to collect the donations, which have been accepted during the lunch shifts this week.

The activity is designed to raise funds for AC House projects, said House Leader Nichole Peacher.

“This is a fundraiser for the AC House. As house leader I chose just to coordinate for the AC. We have done the pie in the face in the past and thought it would be a great way to earn money as well as have fun. The money will be put to use for student celebrations, certificates and incentives throughout the year.”
