Grandview High School has survived its second grading period of the year! November came quickly and on Nov. 8 the end of the second grading period arrived. Following shortly behind, progress reports were distributed on Nov. 19.
“Students are working hard. As far as freshmen are concerned, they’re not used to the rigor of work, but they are still doing well,” said Principal Steven Scraggs.
Coming to the high school is a big change for many of the freshmen. Especially since the middle schools have different grading systems.
“There has been some improvement from the first grading period. The freshmen are beginning to get used to it,” said Scraggs.
Scraggs went on to say that the grading period that follows winter break gets the best results because students are settled in, used to the school, and the teachers. One grading period by one, students will be on their way to success.
