The term “lights, camera, action!” can now be taken even more seriously at Grandview High School. Over the summer big improvements were made to the auditorium.
“We made changes to the auditorium because we felt like there are certain parts of the school that represent us, and a lot of people tend to visit the auditorium,” said GHS Principal Mr. Scraggs. There were changes made to almost everything, but the biggest and most important changes were the brand new grand drape, custom-made wall panels, and a new stage floor.
“They’re all great improvements,” said Theatre Director Mrs. Taylor. “It will also give the students more confidence and pride,” Mrs. Taylor added.
The students of Grandview High School are also excited for the changes.
“It will take some getting used to by being more careful with things like paint and tech, but other than that, it will have a positive effect on the students and theatre participants here,” said junior Laura Casey, a GHS thespian.
