The FCCLA sponsored the annual blood drive on Oct. 6. Donation centers were set up in the North Gym foyer.

During the blood drive, 74 pints of blood were donated. One hundred and three people attempted to donate blood, which means that not all of them were accepted. Out of those 103, 46 people were first-time donors.

Cheyenne Sprowl, a junior, says that her experience with the donations was good.

“It helps people in need,” Sprowl said.

The blood that is donated goes to the Community Blood Center.
