Grandview freshmen had the opportunity to meet and talk with professionals in a variety of career areas during a “Career Jumping” event at GHS on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
Each House (Arts and Communication, Health and Human Services, and Engineering Manufacturing and Technology) invited career professionals to provide information about their jobs. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about a number of different careers during the event.
The event was held in the morning at different locations. The AC house was in the North Gym, the EMT house was in the cafeteria, and the HHS house was located in the South Gym.
